Allen H. Faust, Sr.

Allen H. Faust Sr., 90, of Auburn, passed away Saturday at his residence surrounded by his family. He was finally called to Heaven to share the dance his wife, Anna, has been waiting 10 years for.

Born in Orwigsburg, July 10, 1927, he was a son of Homer and Clara Faust.

He was the widower of Anna A. Kauffman Faust, who passed away in 2007.

He served in the Army as a corporal in World War II and was formerly employed by the Conrail and Reading Railroad.

"Fausty" was president of Auburn Fire Company for 19 years and a dedicated member thereafter. He served as president of Auburn Memorial Park and was a long-time member of Auburn Game and Fish, where he served as director for many years. He had memberships with many associations, which are far too numerous to mention.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Faust; sisters, Mabel Nagle and Ida Baver.

Allen is survived by a son, Allen "Dobs" Faust Jr., husband of Karen, Auburn; a daughter, Lisa Webber, wife of Dan, Orwigsburg; grandchildren, Abby and Zander Kramer and Dana Coulbourn; great-grandchildren, Dylan, Austin and Brayden Coulbourn; a brother, Adam Faust, Seton Manor; a sister, Ethel Bliven, Rhode Island; nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ebling-Stabingas Funeral Home, Cressona. A viewing for family and friends will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Auburn Ambulance Association, P.O. Box 137, Auburn, PA 17922; Auburn Fire Company, 131 Front Street, Auburn, PA 17922, and Auburn Memorial Park, P.O. Box 296, Auburn, PA 17922. Interment will be in Zion Red Church Cemetery, West Brunswick Township.
