David M. Tobias, 50, of Pottsville, passed away Friday, January 22nd, at home.
Born in Schuylkill Haven on May 1, 1965, he was a son of Blanche (Rihacek) Tobias, Schuylkill Haven, and the late Adam Tobias.
In addition to his father, Dave is also preceded in death by paternal grandparents; Adam & Theresa (Staller) Tobias, maternal grandparents; Martin & Anna Rihacek, brother, Timothy Tobias, & sister, Linda R. Putlock.
He was formerly employed by Argo Mills in the finishing department.
In addition to his mother, Dave is also survived by his companion, Theresa L. Mabry, three sisters, Debora, wife of Lester Morgan, Schuylkill Haven, Theresa, wife of Harry Nunemacher, Cressona, & Kimberly Tobias & her fiance, Richard Gwin, Schuylkill Haven, and brother, Kenneth Tobias, & twin brohter, Douglas Tobias, both of Schuylkill Haven.
He is also survived by nieces & nephews, great-nieces & great-nephews, and aunts.
Additional surviving family members include; Sharon Roberts, Ashland, Danny Mabry & wife, Shannon, Forestville, Matt Mabry, Pottsville, Kaitlyn Mabry, Minersville, Madison, Mya, & Corbin Mabry, and Jalyse Ellis.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home, Inc., Schuylkill Haven, at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 30th, with Pastor Nelson Reppert officiating.
A visitation will be held Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
Interment will follow the service at St. Ambrose RCC Cemetery, Schuylkill Haven.
