Dennis George "Filbert" Keefer, III, 22, of Wayne Township, passed away Friday, March 17th.
Born in Reading on July 24, 1994, he was a son of Marcia Tamburelli, of Orwigsburg, and Dennis George Keefer, Jr., of Wayne Township.
He graduated from Blue Mountain High School in 2012.
Filbert was employed as a heavy equipment operator for the International Union of Operational Enginners Local 542.
He was a member of White Pine Camp, Clinton County, PA.
Filbert loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter. He also enjoyed raising Angus Cattle.
He was a true friend to all.
In addition to his parents, Filbert is also survived by a sister, Chelsie Rice & husband, Zachary, Orwigsburg, paternal grandparents: Dennis G. Keefer, Sr. & Kathryn (Shaw) Keefer, Pine Gove, paternal great-grandmother: Helen Shaw, Schuylkill Haven, maternal grandparents: Charles & Mary (Martinko) Tamburelli, Seltzer, nephew, Holden Rice, aunts & uncles: Ryan & Leslie Keefer, Cressona, Daniel & Trina Keefer, Auburn, Charles Tamburelli, Seltzer, Robert & Trish Tamburelli Valley View, and cousins.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be conducted at Ebling-Stabingas Funeral Home, 26 Chestnut Street, Cressona, at 11 A.M. on Saturday, March 25th.
A viewing will be held Saturday from 9 - 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will follow the service at Cressona Cemetery.
