Edna G. Schwartz, 96, formerly of Cressona, passed away Tuesday, April 19th, at Rosewood Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, North Manheim Township.
Born in Cressona on December 13, 1919, she was a daughter of the late Robert & Lucia (Rutter)Schweigert.
She was the widow of Forrest S. “Diz” Schwartz, who passed away April 17, 2013.
Edna was formerly employed by Alpha Mills as a floor lady, and was a member of St. Mark's United Church of Christ, Cressona.
In addition to her parents and husband, Edna is also preceded in death by two sisters; June Boyer & Matilda Eifert.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at Ebling-Stabingas Funeral Home, Cressona, on Monday with Rev. Nathan Druckenmiller officiating at 2:30 p.m.
A viewing will be held at the funeral home from 1:30 p.m. until the time of service on Monday.
Interment will be held at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
