So many things left unsaid.. I love you with every ounce of me... You truly made me happy and we got each other through some difficult times...we always had each other to lean on and now I am struggling because my rock is gone :(

I know you are always with me though baby and I know you are outshining everyone up there and schooling them in Nicki lyrics.

Jake's passing is heart-breaking on infinite levels. I can say with confidence that Jake had an abundance of love and kindness in his heart. Since Kindergarten to the last time I saw him last week, he had remained true to his benevolent nature. He never once allowed outside negativity to warp his character and he remained generous despite adversity. Spending a lot of my childhood at his Aunt Stacy's house gave me the gift of knowing his character at an early age. Although we lost touch over time, I still remembered his handsome face and beautiful smile so vividly. When I was able to reconnect with Jake, that very smile filled my heart with the feeling of acceptance and love. He would compliment you on your most horrid day, and make it a point to make you feel good even if you were at your worst. I find his ability to see the good in people to be selfless and heroic, as he was suffering inside. I had no idea to what extreme his suffering was, until I heard the news of his passing. I am so sorry to Jake's family for what they have endured in their struggle to help Jake overcome his addictions. It is not your fault. I know that you are now suffering with grief, but please know that his legacy is not his addiction. His legacy is kindness and loving people with nonjudgmental heart. I am thinking of your family often and as the wounds will remain, remember that you deserve happiness.
