Im very sorry to hear of my neighbor Nancy Donmoyer's passing. I was a friend of her husbands and got to know her better after his death. She lived at 7 Schumacher Ave. and I live at 3 Schumacher ave. I found myself trying to help her cope with Tom's loss and we became friends. She was always nice to me and gave me alot of Toms old fishing stuff. We even watched and talked about football games together as she loved the Dallas Cowboys as did Tom. In the last fall I seperated my shoulder and since I live alone I went to her and asked her to help me pop it back in. She did and possibly saved my life. I found out that she enjoyed going to these tribute bands with her realtives and made her some cd's of the Bands she went to see. I am about the same age as her sons were and she told me she had no way to listen to the cd's I made her so I loaned her my cd player. She also told me she had trouble sleeping since Tom's loss and I do also. so I made her a relaxation/meditation cd to try to help her sleep. The last time I talked to her in person was when we had the blizzard in ( I helped her shovel her place out ) March ans she told me she was going to Las Vegas to her relatives timeshare. She asked me to keep an eye on her trailer as I often asked her to do the same when I would go off camping. As the week after she went to Vegas passed I began to wonder why she hadn't seemed to come home. then it turned into a month and I became worried. I do not know any of her relatives except I had known her brother who had the body shop Steve. So... I didn't know who to ask what happened. I asked my brother and my children to keep an eye on the paper for any details. Last Friday my brother called to tell me that she had died while in Las Vegas. I just couldn't believe it. She seemed fine before she left the last time we talked. However I am glad to know she was living her life to the fullest and is now with my old friend Tom together in Heaven. I will always miss them both . Sincerely Tom Mengle.
