Pauline W. Heinbach

Pauline W. Heinbach, 91, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Sunday. 

Born in Wayne Township, Aug. 6, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Howard F. and Ethel R. Whitman Fessler.

She was married for 50 years to Charles M. Heinbach, who passed away Sept. 13, 1993. She was also preceded in death by brothers, John, Howard, Harry, Robert, George, Paul and Donald Fessler; and a sister, Anna News.

Pauline graduated third in her class from Cressona High School, Class of 1942.

She was a member of St. John United Church of Christ, Schuylkill Haven, and the Schuylkill Haven Senior Citizens group, arts and craft class and Young at Heart. 

Pauline enjoyed crocheting and traveling all over the country.

She had been employed by several local textile mills.

Pauline is survived by two daughters, Kathryn M. Gemmell and husband, Robert, Allentown, and Anne M. Umbenhaur and husband, Paul, Schuylkill Haven; a son, Charles M. Heinbach and wife, Linda, Clovis, Calif.; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy Yeich, Schuylkill Haven, and Mildred Brown, Romney, W.Va.; a sister-in-law, Shirley Fessler; nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home Inc., 25 E. Main St., Schuylkill Haven, with the Rev. Janet Lewis officiating. A viewing will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service Friday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Manbeck's Cemetery, Washington Township. At the family's request, memorial donations in Pauline's memory may be sent to St. John United Church of Christ, 121 East Main Street, Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972
