Ralph P. "Mush" Wessner

Ralph P. “Mush” Wessner, 94, of Auburn, passed away Sunday, January 25th, at home. 

Born in Pinedale, Pennsylvania on September 21, 1920, he was a son of the late Verd & Annie (Breiner) Wessner.

He was married to Lois J. (Meyers) Wessner, his wife of 64 years.

Mush was a member of Grace Evangelical Free Church, Cressona.

He also belonged to the Auburn VFW, Stein Hollow Beagle Club, Auburn, and the Lebanon County Beagle Club.  He was also a founding member of the Auburn Game & Fish. 

Mush retired as a foreman from the former Reneer Films in 1982.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by a grandson, Brent Schoffstall.

In addition to his wife, he is also survived by three sons: Ronald G. Wessner & his wife, Gloria Jean, & Craig B. Wessner & his wife, Val, all of Auburn, and Joel F. Wessner & his wife, Elsie, Williamsport, and a daughter, Leslie Schoffstall & her husband, Joe, Schuylkill Haven, as well as eight grandchildren,three great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and nieces & nephews.

A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at Grace Evangelical Free Church on Thursday, January 29th, at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Randy Ott officiating. 

A viewing will be held on Thursday at the church, from 9:30 a.m., until the time of service.

Interment will follow at Saint John’s New Cemetery, Auburn.
