Raymond D. "Denny" Donetti, 69, of Port Clinton, passed away Tuesday at his residence.
Born in Schuylkill Haven, Aug. 29, 1946, he was a son of the late Raymond and Anna Mae Renninger Donetti.
He was the husband of Joanne L. Hafer Donetti.
He was formerly employed by Circle M Construction for 16 years and then UGI Corp. as a welder from where he retired after 30 years of employment. He then spent his retirement as a charter boat captain on Lake Ontario.
Denny was a member of the Auburn Game and Fish, Port Clinton Fire Company, and the Marquardt Hunting Club. He served as president of the Port Clinton Water Co-Op.
He loved the outdoors very much, and to say he was obsessed with fishing was an understatement.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Colin Philip Donetti.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, Joanne, is a son, Dennis T. Donetti, husband of Christina, Wyomissing.
A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home Inc., Schuylkill Haven, with Pastor Amy Kirkpatrick officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
