Robert A. Becker, 79, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Friday at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Hershey.
Born in Pottsville, June 2, 1936, he was a son of the late Helen Coover Becker Oakley and Frank Becker.
He was the husband of Lois E. Heffner Becker.
He formerly attended Grace Evangelical Congregational Church, Schuylkill Haven.
Robert was a graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School, Class of 1954 and was formerly employed by local shoe companies as a shoe maker.
He was preceded in death by sons, Robert Jr. and Richard Becker.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by children, Lynn Everly, wife of David, Orwigsburg, Ronald Becker, husband of Janice, Bethlehem, Rodney Becker, husband of Kerrie, Palmyra, Lisa Kline, wife of William, Schuylkill Haven; grandchildren, Richard Becker Jr., Janice and Scott Everly, Jennifer, Rachel, Jessica and Katelyn Becker, Emma Kline, Eli Becker and Ethan Kline.
A Celebration of Life funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home Inc., Schuylkill Haven, with Pastor Lloyd Yeager officiating. A viewing for family and friends will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.
