Stephen was born in Reading, Pennsylvania on February 19, 1961, a son of the late Catherine (Morrow) and Robert  Hoffmann.

He was the husband of Beverly Weikel, who he often said was the love of his life.

Stephen was a Licensed Practicing Counselor in Pennsylvania, which he was very proud of. He served three years in the Peace Corp. and was stationed in the Philippines at the Bacolad City Boys Home. He was a member of the National Board Certified Counselors of America and was certified as a Gestalt Therapist.

Mr. Hoffmann was a very vibrant man, he loved his flower gardens, stained glass and reading. Although he never had children he loved all children very much. He referred to all the children he worked with as his own. He was such a generous man, he was an organ donor.
