Elizabeth McKeon Obituary

Elizabeth Ann McKeon, 78, of New Philadelphia, passed away Wednesday, April 24th, at home. 

 

Born in Brooklyn, NY on October 9, 1945, she was a daughter of the late Anthony & Evelyn (Reinecker) Ruckel.

 

Married 30 years, Donald C. McKeon passed away in 1993.

 

Betty was a member of Faith Worship Center, Orwigsburg. 

 

In addition to working at the Walk-In Shoe Company, Schuylkill Haven, Betty was the co-owner of Magic Dragon Daycare, Shoemakersville.

 

In addition to her parents and husband, Betty is also preceded in death by her son, Robert "Bobby" McKeon who passed in 1986.

 

She is also survived by two daughters: Debora Faust & husband, Christopher, Deer Lake, and Christina Weiss & husband, Michael, New Philadelphia, grandchildren: Brenden Faust, Mikol McKeon, Cody Cookson, Kasandra Cookson, & Megan Weiss, great-grandchildren: Kieran, Laina, & Nori, brother, Thomas Ruckel & wife, Mary Jo, New York, nieces and a nephew, and her beloved dog, Cece, and cat, Cotton.

 

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be conducted at Faith Worship Center, Orwigsburg, at 1 PM on Tuesday. A visitation for family and friends will be held from noon until the time of service at the church.

Interment will be private.

 

Memorial contributions may be made in Betty's name to the American Lung Association and mailed to PO Box 756, Osceola WI 54020-0756.
