Dime Messina

Dime Messina, 69, of Orwigsburg, passed away Saturday at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born in Cattolica, Sicily, Aug. 6, 1948, he was a son of the late Francesco and Angela Sperlazza Messina.

He was the loving husband of Lou A. Geary Messina.

Dime was the owner and operator of Messina's Pizza.

In addition to his wife, he is also survived by a son, Francesco Messina, Auburn; a daughter, Angelina Messina, Pottsville; grandchildren, Anna Messina, Dime Messina and Olivia Kolbe; a brother, Joseph Messina and his wife, Josephine, York; nieces and nephews.

Services and interment will be privately held at the family's convenience. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society  and mailed to P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123. On the memo line of your check, note your donation should go towards Multiple Myeloma Research.
