Aunt Marian was part of every happy memory of my childhood, and she was much loved by my children who learned from her the secrets of homemade pies and the stars at night. We are all so saddened by her passing, but know that her suffering has ended. For the record, the unnamed nieces, Jacqueline Catts and Wendy Mueller, are the daughters of Marian's deceased sister Helen, for whom Marian stepped in and acted as mother, grandmother, friend and confident to her children.
