Robert H. Orndorff

Robert H. Orndorff, III, 67, of Schuylkill Haven, PA, passed away Tuesday, December 31st, at Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, PA.  


Born in Fort Campbell, KY on February 11, 1952, he was a son of Blanche M. (Fisher) Orndorff Koehler, Orwigsburg, PA, and the late Robert H. Orndorff, Jr. 


Robert attended Schuylkill Haven Area schools. 


He served in the United States military for 38 years. 


Robert was formerly employed as a heavy equipment mechanic at Fort Indiantown Gap, Annville, PA. 


He was a member of the Jonestown American Legion Post #883, and the Schuylkill Hose Company #2, Schuylkill Haven.He formerly volunteered with the Pottsville EMS as an ambulance driver, and loved trains.  


In addition to his mother, Robert is also survived by two sisters: Susan Sidella, & Pam Dreher, and two brothers: Elwood R. Orndorff, & Joseph Orndorff, as well as nieces & nephews. 


In addition to his father, Robert is also preceded in death by his step-father, John L. Koehler, and sister, Peggy Darosh. 


A private graveside service will be held at the family's convenience at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
