Ann G. Bichteman

Ann G. Bichteman, 96, of Pottsville, went home to the Lord on Wednesday, November 12th, at her caretaker’s residence.

Born in Feura Bush, NY on September 13, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Maria (Harz) and Richard Hack, Sr.

Ann was the widow of Albert Bichteman who passed away in 1996.

She was a graduate of Greenville Central High School, New York.

Ann was employed at Soloman Brothers, worked for 50 years as a secretary at Felty Oil, and worked at Liberty Oil Co. for a short while.

She was a member of Bible Tabernacle Church, Schuylkill Haven. 

Ann is survived by a daughter, Rene Bichteman, of Orwigsburg and a son, F. Cristian Bichteman, husband of Bonnie, of South Carolina. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and her dearest friend of 43 years, Brenda Somers of Pottsville.

In addition to her parents and husband, Ann is preceded in death by a son, Randy Bichteman; a daughter, Charyl Williams; brothers, Alfred, Richard, & Edward Hack; and a sister, Helen Zolko.

A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, November 24th at Bible Tabernacle Church, Schuylkill Haven. A viewing will be held from 10 AM until the beginning of the service. Interment will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Ann’s memory may be made to Bible Tabernacle Church, 314 S Margaretta St. Schuylkill Haven, PA 1797
