Anna Francavage

Anna "Ann" FrancavageAnna Francavage, 95, of Pottsville, passed away Friday, April 10th, at her daughter's residence.

Born in Boston, MA on December 2, 1930, a daughter of the late Stella (Olszeski) and Benjamin Kuziuk.

She was the widow of Mervin F. Francavage, who passed away in 2018.

She previously managed Towne Drugs, Pottsville for 27 years until retiring. She also worked at the ER at Good Samaritan Hospital. Ann was of the Catholic Faith.

In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her son Thomas Francavage, her daughter Denise Snyder, and sister Helen Szwabowski.

Ann is survived by her son Robert A. Francavage husband of Catherine, Delaware; daughters Allene Williams wife of Tom, Tremont, Karen Castillo wife of Jose, Sugarloaf, Anne Tolbard wife of Bradley, New Bern, NC; grandchildren Robert Francavage, Jr., David and Benjamin Francavage, Alicia Mennig, Daniela Castillo, Anamaria Castillo Moon, Stacie Jaxheimer, Cory Snyder, Corrine Johnson, Lindsey Nelson and Tony Castillo; great grandchildren Lindsey, Darian, Cole, Ema, Taylor, Ryker, Thora, Jeremiah, Katie, Owen, Lily Rose and Silas.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 17 at 10:30 am at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church in Pottsville.

A visitation will be held prior from 9:30 am until the time of the service.

Interment will be held privately at a later date at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
