Anna Harding, 94, of Orwigsburg, passed away Thursday, June 11th, at her home.
Born in Primrose, on March 24, 1932, to the late Anna (Medock) and Alex Berzowski.
She was the wife of the late Michael Harding, who passed away in 2000. They were married at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Church, Minersville , May 4, 1952
She was a member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Schuylkill Haven, where she belonged to the rosary guild and many other groups. She was also a member of the Ladies Sodality at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Church, Minersville.
Anna was a graduate of Cass Township High School, Primrose. She then worked for the former Bamburger's (Macy's), Lehigh Valley and Miller Textiles. After those two occupations Anna helped on the family farm. She was willing to do anything and everything. Moms favorite job was waiting on customers , mom loved to talk to people.
Anna is the last surviving member of the Berzowski family. She is preceded in death by her siblings Walter, Michael, John, Joseph and Mary Hoppe.
She is survived by her children Patricia Ricevuto wife of Charlie, Michael Harding husband of Karen, Christine Buroff wife of Mark, Steven Harding husband of Krista and Joseph Harding husband of Melanie; grandchildren Matthew Ricevuto, Daniel Ricevuto (Megan), David Harding, Jennifer Harding, Joshua Harding, Sara Harding, Jamie Byers (Chris), Samantha Harris (Joel), Michael Buroff, John Harding (Kristen), Mark Harding (Davita), Peter Harding (Jill), Luke Harding , Stephanie Reiner (Mike), Emily Harding, Alex Harding (Megan), Alyssa Houk (Julian) and Nicholas Harding (Lindsey); and great-grandchildren:Miles, Aldar, Penelope, Benjamin, Laina, Isaiah, Isaac, RJ, Henry, Theodore, Harper and Parker.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Thursday, June 18th at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church in Schuylkill Haven, with Rev. Msgr. Edward S. Zemanik officiating.
A viewing for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, June 17 from 5-7 pm at Ebling Stabingas Funeral Home, Cressona. An additional viewing time will be held prior to Mass from 9:15 until 10:15 at St.Ambrose Church, the site of the funeral.
