Betty L. Smith

Betty L. Smith, 96, of Cressona, passed away Thursday, December 29th, at Geisinger St. Luke's Hospital, Orwigsburg.
Born in Reading on February 26, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Frances (Hartman) and Daniel Moyer.
Betty was the widow of Calvin T. Smith.
She was a saleswoman at the Goodwill in Robesonia.
Betty is survived by two daughters, Linda Phillips and Frances Lake, and grandchildren Jen Mcgovern, Brian Long, Phillip Long Jr., Angie, Jackie, and Nathan Sites, Jason, Seth, and Logan Basom, and Rachel and Bobby Horst. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her son Dee Basom, daughters, Jodi Mintzer and Ginny Horst, and grandson Austin McGovern.
Services are private at the convenience of family.
