Carol A. Hoppes Kutash

Carol A. Hoppes Kutash, 80, formerly of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Sunday, February 9th, at her son, Check’s residence.

Born in Cressona on February 11, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Avril Geist.

In addition to her mother, Carol was also preceded in death by her first husband, Darwin Hoppes, Sr., second husband, Frank Kutash, and grandson, Joshua Hoppes.

She was a member of the former Lighthouse Church, Orwigsburg.

Carol is survived by four children: Terry White, wife of Scott, Pottsville, Darwin "Check" Hoppes, Jr., husband of Becky, Pine Grove, Jeffery Hoppes, husband of Michelle, Schuylkill Haven, & Michael Hoppes, husband of Laura, Friedensburg. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces & nephews.

An evening viewing will be held from 5-7 PM on Thursday, February 13th at Geschwindt Stabingas Ebling Funeral Home, Inc., Schuylkill Haven.

A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 14th at the funeral home at 10:30 AM with Pastor Josh Ott officiating. An additional time for viewing will be held from 9:30 AM until the time of service. Interment will follow at Cressona Cemetery, Cressona.
