Charles David Wert, Jr.

Charles David Wert, Jr., 88, passed away Saturday, October 26th, at Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center, Tremont, where he had been a resident.

Born in Middletown, DE on May 10, 1936, he was a son of the late Charles David Wert, Sr. & Emma Virginia (Wilson) Wert.

Married in 1972, he was the husband of Saretta R. (Wayne) Wert.

David was a hard worker and always had to keep busy. He had been employed in maintenance for a Paper Mill, in addition to working as a farmer and in restaurants.

In addition to his wife, he is also survived by three daughters: Renee, wife of Barry Brill, of Narvon; Angie, wife of  Drew Knott, of DE; & Maria, wife of Michael Molnar, of Hegins; three sons: David Wayne Wert, husband of  Holly, of FL; Ralph Ernest "Ernie" Wert, of Reading; & Alfred James Brady, husband of Cherish, of West Chester; nine grandchildren, & two brothers: Ralph "Richard" Wert, of VA; & William Wert, of NC.

He is preceded in death by a brother, James Aaron Wert.

David was of the Jehovah's Witness faith.

He loved to play cards, games, do crossword puzzles, and color in coloring books.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be conducted Thursday, October 31st at 2 PM at Geschwindt Stabingas Ebling Funeral Home, Inc., Schuylkill Haven. A visitation will be held from 1 PM until the time of service.

Interment will be private at the family's convenience.
