Cheryl L. Spangler, 55, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Wednesday at Gnaden Huetten Rehabilitation Center, Lehighton.
Born in Pottsville, Oct. 14, 1959, she was a daughter of the late Paul Spangler, Ruth M. Fox Spangler Long and John "Deac" Long. She was also preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Linda M. and Joseph Kramer.
Cheryl was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ and attended the Church of the Nazarene, both in Schuylkill Haven.
She was formerly employed by Reading Hospital, West Reading, as a medical transcriptionist.
Cheryl is survived by a niece, Joie Beekley and her husband, Chris; four nephews, John P. "JP" Kramer, and Mason, Zachary and Cameron Beekley; aunts and cousins.
A Celebration of Life funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home Inc., 25 E. Main St., Schuylkill Haven, officiated by the Rev. Janet Lewis and the Rev. Robert Berry. A viewing will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service in Hetzel's Church Cemetery
