Daisy Hall

Daisy Hall, 80, of Pottsville, PA passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 5, 2026.

Born in Pottsville on October 28, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Paul L. Glenn Sr. and Ernestine Reaves Glenn.

She was a member of the former Mt. Zion Baptist Church and a graduate of Pottsville High School.

Daisy worked for the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry for 25 years, from 1980 to 2005. Prior to that, she worked for the Federal Government in Washington, DC.

In addition to her parents, Daisy was preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, Eugene Hall, and her brothers, Paul L. Glenn Jr. and Thomas Glenn, and sisters Mary Glenn and Pauline Glenn.

She is survived by her daughters, Angela H. Schriner, widow of James Schriner, of Pottsville, Pamela J. Hall, of Harrisburg, and Pauline C. Hall, of Pottsville; grandsons, Dylan and Jordan; great-grandson, Carson; brothers Roy Glenn, James Glenn (Harriet), Anthony Glenn (Annette), and Johnny Glenn; sisters Peggy Wilder and Jackie Coates; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Daisy passed doing what she loved most — traveling and spending time with family during the annual family cruise. One of her most memorable trips was traveling to Hawaii with her husband Gene, brother Jim and his wife Harriet. They traveled to four different islands for a trip of a lifetime. She loved her family dearly, especially her daughters and grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 14 at 3:00pm at The Pottsville Zone, 337 Peacock St, Pottsville, PA.
