Dale M. Shive

Dale M. Shive, 84, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Tuesday, June 20, at home.

Born Jan. 23, 1939, in Schuylkill Haven, he was a son of the late William and Christine Mary (Welde) Shive.

Dale was a Blue Mountain High School graduate and proudly served in the Marine Corps.

He was a member of Bethany Christian Fellowship Church, Cressona. He also belonged to the Corvette Club, Triumph Club and Blue Mountain Muzzleloaders.

Dale had worked as a truck driver for Jetson Direct bulk mail center, Hamburg.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Ernest, Gerald and Ronald Shive; brother-in-law, Clark Renoll; and nephew, William Shive.

Dale is survived by his sister, Faith Renoll; nephews, John (Kim), Keith, William and Henry Shive and Clayton (Sharon) and Craig (Lindsay) Renoll; nieces, Margaret Czarnecki, Christine "Tina" Smith, Crystal Whippo and Barbara (Joe) Anderson; as well as great-nieces and -nephews.

Private interment with military honors will be held in Cressona Cemetery at the family's convenience.
