David G. "Pork" Luckenbill, 57, of Minersville, passed away Sunday, July 24th, at Crozer-Chester Medical Center.
David was born in Pottsville, on January 30, 1959, a son of the late Mary (Gerber) Luckenbill and George Luckenbill.
Pork was a graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School, Class of 1978. In high school he was a wrestler and on the football team. He was a member of the Rainbow Hose Co. No. 1 and Northward Social Club, both of Schuylkill. He was of the Protestant faith and was employed as a STS Bus driver
In addition to his parents, Pork is preceded in death by a brother Dale W. "Doop" Luckenbill.
He is survived by a sister Donna Graf wife of David, Willow Grove; a niece Christie Graf, Centreville, VA; a nephew Tim Graf, Willow Grove; his live in companion Jodi Thomas, Minersville; a cousin Debra Tohill, Orwigsburg; and an uncle Ted Gerber & wife, Deb, Schuylkill Haven.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, July 30 at 12 noon at the St. John's Reformed Church Cemetery.
Family request donations to Rainbow Hose Company, 417 Dock Street Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972.
Interment at Saint John's Reformed Church of Christ Cemetery, Friedensburg.
