Doris Irene Faust

Doris Irene Faust, 91, of Cressona, passed away Saturday, May 3rd, at York Terrace Nursing Home, Pottsville.

Born in Pottsville on April 20, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Charles Knoll & Gertrude (Jameson) Behney.

She was the widow of Allen Ramon Faust.

Doris is a member of St. John’s Reformed Church, Friedensburg and a life member of the Friedensburg Fire Co. Auxillary. 

She worked as a folder at Bo-Jan textile factory.

Doris is survived by three children: Edward Faust, Cressona, Dennis Faust, New Philadelphia, & Doreen Davidson, Elk Ridge, PA, four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two siblings: Linda Brown, wife of Roger, Pine Grove, & Lewis Behney, husband of Betty, Friedensburg, and numerous nieces & nephews.

She is preceded in death by siblings: Chester Knoll, Franklin Knoll, Helen Knight, Shirley Dillman, Tommy Behney, & Robert Knoll, granddaughter, Jennifer L. Faust Otto, and daughters-in-law, Rose (Bitzer) Faust, & Mary Faust.

A Graveside Service will be held at St. John's Reformed Church Cemetery, Friedensburg at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 28th.
