Earl H. Daubenspeck, 81, of Auburn, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 27th, at Abington Manor at Morgan Hill, Easton.

Earl was born in Philadelphia, on April 5, 1945, the son of the late Kathryn G. (Brooker) and Earl J. Daubenspeck.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine M. (Hoosier) Daubenspeck whom he was married to for 52 years.

Earl proudly served his country in the United States Navy for four years where he was actively involved as an avionics technician with the Blue Angels.

He was a former Philadelphia Fire Fighter for 27 years and retired in 1997. Upon retirement, he continued to work while sharing his many other talents and skills.

He was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church, Schuylkill Haven and the Cressona American Legion Post #286.

Earl is survived by his children Charles A. Daubenspeck husband of Ellen, Furlong, PA, Cathryn A. Veneziale wife of John, Easton, PA and Tara L. Moyer wife of Andrew, Minersville, PA; six grandsons, Dominic, Jonathan, Ethan, Lucas, Aidan and Keegan; one granddaughter Addison; a sister Joy Krot wife of Alex, Dubois, PA, a nephew, great-niece, Silver Spring, MD; niece and great-nephew, Forest Park, Illinois.

At the family’s request, memorial donations may be forwarded to National Fallen Firefighters Foundation P.O. Drawer 498, Emmitsburg, MD 21727 or the Alzheimer’s Association, PO Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.
