Elmer H. Kramer, 93, formerly of Pottsville, passed away Wednesday, November 16th, at Orwigsburg Center, where he had been a resident.
Born in Pottsville on August 5, 1923, he was a son of the late Roy & Gertrude Kramer.
He was the widower of Clara (Heffner) Kramer, who passed away in 2003.
Elmer attended Pottsville Schools, and proudly served in the U.S. Army.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville, and also belonged to the Veteran's Post #129.
Elmer was formerly employed as a maintenance mechanic at Argo Mills.
He is survived by a daughter, Debra Leymeister & husband, James, granddaughter, Ashley Hess & husband, Robert, and great-grandchildren, Parker & Kennedy Hess, all of Orwigsburg, as well as a sister, Louise Gradwell, Pottsville, two brothers, Charles Kramer, Minersville & George Kramer, Schuylkill Haven, and nieces & nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, Elmer is also preceded by a brother, Roy Kramer, Jr.
Services & interment will be privately held at the convenience of the family.
