Franklin Milner, Sr., 78, formerly Jamaica, NY, a current resident of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Friday, September 23rd, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Schuylkill South Jackson, Pottsville.
Franklin was born in Manhattan, New York on December 30, 1937, a son of the late Theodore Milner & Loretta Bender.
He was the husband of Y. Stephanie (Reen) Milner.
Franklin was formerly employed as a computer technician for Goldman Sachs and had served in the U.S. Air Force.
He was of the Catholic faith and was a member of the Cambria Heights Block Association.
Franklin was a self made, mild mannered man. He raised several children in addition to his own and was well respected by his peers.
In addition to his wife, he is also survived by a daughter, Maria Milner, Texas, and two sons; Franklin Milner, Jr., & David Milner, both of New York, four granddaughters; Nikea & Onyae Harris, and Savannah & Emma Dawkins, as well as a son-in-law, William Dawkins, Jr.
Services and interment will be privately held at the family's convenience.
