Frederick W. Wonders

Frederick W. Wonders, 75, of Cressona, passed away Saturday, May 15th, at UPMC Carlisle.

Fred was born in Harrisburg on December 13, 1945, a son of the late Francis "Frank" & Mary (Miller) Wonders.

He was the husband of Rita Wonders.

Fred was a 1963 graduate of John Harris High School.

He was a member of Newport First Church of God, Perry County.

Fred was formerly employed as the regional manager of Eric Theatres.He retired from Exel Logistics.He was currently employed as a projectionist for Carlisle Regional Performing Arts Center, and Cumberland Drive-In Theatre.

In addition to his wife, Fred is also survived by a daughter, Nichole Mumbauer, wife of Brian Sr., of Cressona; grandchildren: Kelsie, Kayla, Brian Jr., Austin, Logan, & Danica, a brother, Edward, husband of Barb Wonders, of Phoenixville, four nieces, and cousins.

Fred had the gift of gab and could easily talk to and befriend anyone he met. He had a passion for movies and film; and he loved riding his Harley.Fred enjoyed supporting local firehouse events.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Fred's memory may be made to Carlisle Theatre, 44 W. High St. Carlisle, PA 17013.
