Helen Joan Manfredi

Helen J. Manfredi of New Philadelphia, passed away Friday, July 25th, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest, Allentown.

Born in New Philadelphia, on August 12, 1931, a daughter of the late Adele (Yutsas) and Joseph Snyder.

She was the widow of Neil J. Manfredi, who passed away in 2003.

She was a member of Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, New Philadelphia and the Blythe Township Senior Citizens.

She was formerly employed by McCrory's, Hazleton as a branch manager. Helen also volunteered at St. Peter and Paul's Lithuanian Church, Hazleton.

In addition to her husband, Helen is preceded in death by her siblings Albert “Binny” Snyder, Isabelle Uckele, Ann Wynosky, Margaret Snyder, Daniel "Zane" Snyder, Joseph "Musty" Snyder, Paul Snyder and Charles "Chas" Snyder.

She is survived by her sons Neil Manfredi, Jr., San Diego and Marc Manfredi husband of Kathie, Ormond Beach, FL; a grandson Michael Manfredi; a sister Patricia Snyder, New Philadelphia; numerous nieces and nephews.

A Mass will be celebrated at 11 am, Wednesday, July 30th at Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church in New Philadelphia.

A viewing for family and friends will be held 9:00 to 10:30 on Wednesday, July 30th at Thomas J. Bartashus Funeral Home in New Philadelphia.
