Hope Hutton Casey

Hope Hutton Casey, daughter of Patrick and Susan Casey, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2025.

In addition to her parents, Hope is survived by her brother Quinn Casey and his wife Dr. Julia Ferris, her sister Neave Casey, her grandmothers Kathleen Casey and Judith Goehring; her Aunt Maria Casey, her Uncles Michael Casey and John Dudek; her Uncle and Aunt William Goehring and Suzanne Duff; her Aunt and Uncle Ellen and Rodney Skirpan; and cousins Zach Skirpan (June, Timothy and Paul), Max Skirpan (Vivian), Sam Skirpan (Lauren), Cate West, Christian Santos, Alyssa and Anna Dudek.

Hope is most fondly remembered for her kindness and her empathy for others. The essence of a giving soul, she was especially dedicated to providing an open heart and a sympathetic ear to those who struggled with addiction issues. Hope was also particularly drawn to working with children and had the special gift of being able to connect immediately with young people. She was a lifelong animal lover, and was never happier than when surrounded by the Casey family dogs. She will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.

A celebration of Hope’s life will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025 from 2PM-4PM at South County Brewing Company, 170 Crossway Drive, York, PA 17402.
