Jackie Dorian, 57, passed away December 18 at Reading Hospital after a long battle with cancer.
She was a daughter of Henry Trautman and Madeline McCord.
As a Reading native, Jackie was a graduate of Reading Central Catholic High School and Kutztown University.
She was a Realtor with Berkshire Hathaway in Schuylkill Haven, and was formerly employed as a special education teacher with Schuylkill IU 29.
Jackie was past president of the Schuylkill Board of Realtors and sat on the Schuylkill County Tax Assessment Appeal Board.
She was an active member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Schuylkill Haven, where she served as a eucharistic minister.
Jackie was also an award-winning baker.
She is survived by her husband of 29 years, attorney Ray Dorian, and two daughters, Vanessa and Hillary, who live in the Pottsville area.
Jackie was active with the St. Joseph Center for Special Learning in Pottsville. Donations to the St. Joseph Center are requested in lieu of flowers.
A viewing will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Ebling-Stabingas Funeral Home, 26 Chestnut St., Cressona. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. Saturday. An additional time for viewing will be held from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. Saturday prior to Mass. Interment will immediately follow Mass at Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale
