Janet G. Eifert, 74, formerly of Pottsville, passed away Tuesday at Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center, where she had been a resident.
Born in Pottsville, Nov. 2, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Edwin B. and Lottie E. Kramer Eifert.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Pottsville.
Janet enjoyed league bowling, bingo and bus trips.
In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Eifert.
Janet is survived by two sisters, Shirley Lentz and husband, Donald, Fredericksburg, and Eleanor Neukirch and husband, Edward, Reading; a brother, David Eifert and wife, Theresa, Shoemakersville; a sister-in-law, Peg Eifert, Owings Mills, Md.; nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life funeral service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home Inc., Schuylkill Haven, with the Rev. Dean Cover officiating. A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. The family requests donations to Living Waters Chapel, 1900 Jay St., Lebanon, PA 17046.
