Jeanne V. Miller

Jeanne V. Miller, 90, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Thursday, September 17, 2026, at Rosewood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, with family by her side.

Born in Reading on July 27, 1936, Jeanne was a daughter of the late William D. Gillespie and Elizabeth R. (Posey) Griener.

Married for 50 years, she was the widow of Gar W. "Bap" Miller. She spent the majority of her life caring for family and friends as a mother and homemaker. Additionally she cared for others as a hairdresser and nurses aide.

Jeanne had a true love for the outdoors and cherished the many times she spent hunting and fishing alongside her husband. A devoted Phillies and Eagles fan, she enjoyed cheering on her favorite teams. Jeanne was also a wonderful dancer and especially treasured dancing the jitterbug with her husband, creating many happy memories together over the years.

Jeanne is survived by her children Pamela Berger (Tim McFadden), Hamburg; Wendy Whalen, and Dan Miller (Michelle Bailey) all of Schuylkill Haven; five grandchildren: Tim, Justin, Jordan, Heather, & Jackie; 10 great-grandchildren: Mason, Nolan, Beau, Hannah, Sophia, Lilah, Calvin, Rita, Addie, & Saylor; sister Dianne Cooper, FL and brother David Gillespie, IL.

In addition to her parents and husband, Jeanne was preceded in death by a son, Gary "Butch" Miller.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, September 25, 2026, from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Geschwindt Stabingas Ebling Funeral Home, Schuylkill Haven. A Graveside Service will be held at 12 Noon on Friday, September 25th at Schuylkill Memorial Park.
