Jerome F. "Jerry" Brensinger

Jerome F. "Jerry" Brensinger, 82, of North Manheim Township, passed away Saturday at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Schuylkill E. Norwegian Street.

Jerome was born in Llewellyn, Aug. 7, 1935, a son of the late Harvey and Lillian Adams Brensinger.

He was the husband of Nancy E. Miller Brensinger, who died in 2017.

He was a member of Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, Schuylkill Haven.

He worked as a machine operator at the Walk In Shoe Factory.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Rebekah Wensel; a sister, Joan Shappell; brothers, Harvey II, Edward and Roger Brensinger.

Jerry is survived by a daughter, Melanie, wife of Robert Wensel; a son, Jerome J. Brensinger; grandsons, Robert Wensel Jr. and Thomas Wensel; a brother, Gary Brensinger, all of Pottsville.

Religious service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Ebling-Stabingas Funeral Home, Cressona, with the Rev. David Rowe officiating. A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.
