Joan Marilyn Lewis, 85, Port Charlotte, FL, passed away Thursday, January 29th, at Fawcette Memorial Hospital, FL.
Born in Reading, PA, August 1, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Earl Rentschler and Dorothy (Winard) Helfrich.
Joan is preceded in death her husband, Bud Howard Lewis.
A graduate of Wilson High School, she was employed as a hostess for Schell’s Ranch House, West Lawn, PA.
She is survived by son, Kim Lewis & wife Renee, Auburn, son, Randy Howard Lewis and daughter, Lori Gail Lewis Bredbenner, both of Florida.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at Ebling-Stabingas Funeral Home, Inc., Cressona at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, February 23rd.
A visitation will be held Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
Interment will follow at Charles Evans Cemetery, Reading.
