John A. Haller, Sr.

John A. Haller Sr., 64, of Orwigsburg, passed away Tuesday at Schuylkill Medical Center-East Norwegian Street.

Born in Pottsville, Feb. 20, 1950, he was a son of the late George J. and Margurite Strausser Haller.

He was the husband of the late Ginger Bowers Haller.

John was a member of Bible Tabernacle Pentecostal Church, Schuylkill Haven.

He worked as a mechanic.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a daughter, Crystal Siluk; a son, Jason Haller; and sisters, Bonnie Haller and Carol Diaz.

Surviving are two daughters, Tammy Poblete and Alysia Haller; four sons, John Haller Jr. and his wife, Jennifer, Robert Haller, Sean Spotts and Jeffrey Carl; siblings, George Haller, Helen Baver, Betty Irrizzary, Joy Wensel, Suzanne Sanjuan, Paul Haller, Wayne Haller and David Haller; and grandchildren, Logan Haller, Cassandra Haller, Clint Haller, Mike Siluk, Alyssa Siluk, Charles Williams, Damien Haller and Tasha.

A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Nov. 15 at Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home Inc., Schuylkill Haven, with the Rev. Ward Ketch officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:30 am until the time of the service.

Interment will be private at the family's convenience.
