John H. Hoffer Jr., 59, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Sunday at Seton Manor, Orwigsburg.
John was born in Reading, Sept. 8, 1956, a son of the late John H. Sr. and Delores Berbakov Hoffer.
He was employed by AEX Courier and was the former owner of John Hoffer Meats in the Reading Farmers Market.
John is survived by a son, John W. Hoffer, Philadelphia; a daughter, Alisha Lee Hoffer, Schuylkill Haven; a granddaughter, Abella Sofia Hoffer; sisters, Margaret Hoffer, Maureen Riegel and Theresa MacKay, all of Greensboro, N.C., and Stephanie Long, Punta Gorda, Fla.
Services and interment will be private at the convenience of family. The family request donations to Simon Kramer Cancer Institute, 15 Alliance St., New Philadelphia, PA 17959.
