Joyce M. Hinkel-Hess, 85, of Cressona, passed away Sunday at Seton Manor, Orwigsburg.
Born Jan. 4, 1931, in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late John and Mae Miller Hill.
She was last employed by Boscov's department store. She was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed cooking, crafts and ceramics.
Joyce was preceded in death by spouses, Eugene F. Hess and Harold Hinkel; a twin sister, Janice Slifer; a daughter, Claudia J. Hinkel.
Surviving are a son, Eric Hinkel and wife, Coleen, Auburn; grandchildren, Jeannie, Evan, Molly and Claudia; great-grandchildren, Jeffrey Melochick and Jenna and Steven Petrushonis; a sister, Lois Coon, Pittsburgh.
Services and interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
