Kenneth G. "Jim" Steffy, 82, of Auburn, passed away Sunday at Reading Hospital, West Reading.
Born in Auburn, July 2, 1934, he was a son of the late William H. and Bertha C. Barr Steffy.
Jim was former president of Auburn Game and Fish, member of Lost Dutchman Hunting Camp, Tioga County, and a social member of Auburn VFW.
He was of the Lutheran faith.
Jim had been employed by the former Hahn Motors, Hamburg, until its closing, then worked for Quaker Maid Meats until he retired in 1996 .
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Stewart "Tink" Steffy and Clifford "Barney" Steffy.
Kenneth is survived by a brother, Gilbert "Sonny" Steffy, Auburn; two sisters, Shirley Hoppes, Shartlesville, and Joan Bradley, Hepzibah, Ga.; nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John's New Cemetery, Auburn, with the Rev. Paul Schoffstall officiating. Contributions in Jim's memory may be sent to St. John's Lutheran Church, 200 Pearson St., P.O. Box 103, Auburn, PA 17922-0103.
