Lloyd E. "Bud" Kerschner, 91, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Monday, September 14, 2026, at home with family by his side.
Born in Auburn on February 6, 1935, Bud was a son of the late Harrison F. and Anna (Dissinger) Kerschner.
Bud was the husband of Emily J. (Auman) Kerschner.
He was a member of St. John's Church in Auburn.
Bud served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.
He worked as a welder for Dana Corporation.
Bud was a member of Auburn Game and Fish Association, lifetime member of Auburn VFW Post #3975 and Schuylkill Haven American Legion Post #38.
In addition to his wife, Bud is also survived by his daughters: Donna Nebistinsky, wife of Joe, Dillsburg; Kathy Moyer, wife of Kevin, Schuylkill Haven; & Amy Knepp, wife of Charles, Montana; his sons: Lloyd Kerschner Jr., husband of Laurie, Benton; Glenn Kerschner, husband of Diane, Hamburg; Kerry Kerschner, husband of Donette, Minersville and Kris Kerschner, husband of Heather, Schuylkill Haven; numerous grandchildren & great-grandchildren; cousins and nieces & nephews.
The last surviving member of his immediate family, Bud was preceded in death by four brothers and seven sisters.
A viewing will be held at Geschwindt Stabingas Ebling Funeral Home, Inc., Schuylkill Haven on Tuesday, September 22nd from 5 - 7:00 PM. An additional viewing time will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd from 10 AM until the time of service.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, September 23rd at the funeral home in Schuylkill Haven, with Pastor Walter Breiner officiating.
Interment will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, at 12:30 PM on Thursday, September 24th.
At the family's request, memorial donations may be forwarded to St. John's Church, 200 Pearson St., Auburn PA 17922.
