Lois Ann Kenney

Lois Ann Kenney, 81, of Pottsville, passed away Friday, June 26, 2026, at her son’s home with family by her side.

Born in Pottsville on August 17, 1944, she was a daughter of the late John and Jessie Weihe.

Lois was the loving wife of Joseph Kenney to whom she was married for 47 years.

She was a member of St. Mark's United Church of Christ, Cressona.

Lois enjoyed staying active and going to Xtreme Fitness in St. Clair.

In addition to her husband, Lois is survived by her son Scott Kenney, companion of Jenni Leber, Ohio; grandchildren Kyle Kenney and Kiara Wenner (Brandon); 3 great-grandchildren; sisters Joanne Herring (Dennis) and Violet Howell (Allen); nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sisters Eileen and Ruth Weihe.

A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, July 10th at Geschwindt Stabingas Ebling Funeral Home, Inc in Schuylkill Haven with Pastor Jennie Strauch officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:30 am until the time of services. Interment will follow at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.

At the family's request, memorial donations may be forwarded to St. Mark's UCC Church, 30 Pottsville St, Cressona, PA 17929.
