Lois E. Schaeffer-Bosna, 81, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Saturday at Orwigsburg Center, Orwigsburg.
Lois was born in Pottsville, Feb. 9, 1935, a daughter of the late Lena Mohl and Elwood Romberger-Paxson.
She attended Cressona schools and worked several years in the textile industry.
Lois was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul D. Schaeffer; her second husband, John Bosna; two brothers, Richard Romberger and Thomas Paxson; a grandson-in-law, Thomas McClain Jr.
Lois is survived by four daughters, Betty Boyer, wife of Dick, Schuylkill Haven, Corine Hunley, wife of Edward, Lee, Fla., Sharon French, wife of Robert, St. Petersburg, Fla., and Wanda Williams, wife of Ted, Gilcrest County, Fla.; three sons, Donald Schaeffer, husband of Kathleen, Deer Lake, Dale Schaeffer, husband of Jeanie, Collegeville, and Wade Schaeffer, husband of Patricia, St. Petersburg, Fla.; a stepsister, Susan Mertz, wife of Bruce, Schuylkill Haven; three stepbrothers, Earl Paxson, husband of Grace, Schuylkill Haven, Donald Paxson, husband of Jacqueline, Schuylkill Haven, and Richard Paxson, Lebanon; 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home Inc., 25 E. Main St., Schuylkill Haven, with the Rev. Nathan Drunkenmiller officating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow in Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.
