Madelon M. Reber, 95, of Millsboro, Del., formerly of Pottsville, passed away Wednesday at Atlantic Shores, Millsboro. She resided in Atlantic Shores from June 2016 to the present. Prior to that, she resided with her daughter and family from December 2014 to May 2016.
Born in South Manheim Township, Feb. 11, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Norman and Mary Moyer Bressler.
She was the widow of Melvin F. Reber who passed away in 1988.
She was a graduate of Auburn High School, Class of 1939, and was formerly employed by Jackson Blouse, Primrose.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Jeffery Alan, in March 2012; brothers, Harry, Whitner "Jim," Miles and Dorie Bressler; sisters, Mildred Riegel, June Evangelista, Loretta Meck and Dorothy Diefenderfer.
Madelon is survived by a daughter, Melanie Reber Hough, wife of Alan Hough, and a grandson, Taylor Jeffery Hough, all of Millsboro; a brother, Arlan Bressler, Douglassville.
Services and interment will be held privately.
