Marian E. (Bedford) James

Marian E. James, 93, passed away Thursday, November 2nd, at Providence Place Retirement Community, Pottsville, where she had been a resident.
Born in Cressona, Pennsylvania on August 31, 1924, she was a daughter of the late John & Leah Butz Bedford.
She was the widow of John Norman James, who passed away in 1997.
Marian was formerly employed at by St. Luke's Hospital as an x-ray technician.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is also preceded in death by her sister, Helen Oberst.
Marian is survived by her step-daughter Norma J. Morris, wife of Robert D., Lake Worth, FL; grandchildren: Jon Morris husband of Kelly M., Lake Worth, FL, and Robin D. Parsons, wife of Keith, Boynton Beach, FL; great-grandchildren: Ethan and Colin; and sister, Dorothy Singley, Friedensburg, PA, and nieces.
A viewing will be held Thursday, November 9th, at Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home, Inc., 25 E. Main St., Schuylkill Haven, PA, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday.
Interment will immediately follow the service at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.
