Marie E. Blew

Marie E. Blew, 77, of New Ringgold, passed away Sunday, February 1st, at Orwigsburg Center, Orwigsburg.

Born in Pottsville on March 30, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Simon & Edith (Jeffries) Toback.

Married nearly 56 years, Marie was the loving wife of Ronald J. Blew.

Marie was a 1966 graduate of Blue Mountain High School.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Orwigsburg. She also belonged to the Ladies Auxiliary of the Orwigsburg American Legion Post #369.

Marie worked in the office of Kepner Scott Shoe Co., Orwigsburg.

In addition to her husband, Marie is also survived by her daughter, Shannon Yeakel, of New Ringgold, PA; her granddaughter, Sarah Yeakel, two sisters: Geraldine Rae, widow of Jay, of Orwigsburg, & Ann Markowicz, wife of Stephen, of New Ringgold, and nieces and nephews: Nicole Stein, Michele Garv, Tina Grim, Tim, Travis, Corey, and Jason Lutz.

The family prefers remembrances in the form of contributions in Marie’s name to the American Cancer Society: P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
