Paul D. Auman

Paul D. Auman, 81, of Auburn, passed away Friday, July 24, 2026, at home with family by his side.

Born in Auburn on March 21, 1945, he was a son of the late Blanche (Auman) and Jean “Dilly” Wike.

He was a member of St. John's Church, Auburn.

Paul proudly served in the U.S. Army and was a former commander of the VFW in Auburn and a member of the Amvets in Pottsville.

He worked as a Supervisor at Wright's Knitting Mill, Auburn.

Paul is survived by his son Paul D. Auman Jr., husband of Diane, Hamburg; grandchildren Nathan Auman, Pottsville, Shane Auman, husband of Jasmine, Fort Drum and Harry Auman, Jr., Minersville; and a great-granddaughter Madison Auman.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his Paramour of 38 years, Kathy "Footloose" Laferty and sister Diane Schwenk.

A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, August 1st at Geschwindt Stabingas Ebling Funeral Home, Inc in Schuylkill Haven, PA with Rev. Kerry Duke and Rev. Walter Breiner officiating. A viewing for family and friends will be held from 9:30 AM until time of services.

Interment will follow at St. John's Church Cemetery, Auburn.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Geschwindt Stabingas Ebling Funeral Home, Inc., Schuylkill Haven.
