Philip J. Swavely

Philip J. Swavely, 47, of Orwigsburg, passed away Thursday, February 11th, at St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem.



Born in Reading on March 6, 1973, he was a son of Irene (Nuss) Swavely Metz, and Paul Swavely.



Philip was a graduate of Blue Mountain High School; and earned an Associate's Degree in Computer Technology from Berks Technical Institute.



He had been employed as a computer systems analyst.



He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Reinhold, & Beatrice Nuss, paternal grandfather, John Swavely, and Russell Krause, who was like a grandfather to Philip.



In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his step-father, Barry Metz, paternal grandmother, Susan Swavely, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.



Services and interment will be privately held at the family's convenience.
