Robert Wayne Eberhard, 71, of Wayne Township, PA, passed away Friday, June 2nd, at home.
Born in Columbus, OH on July 12, 1945, he was a son of the late Leland Arthur & Freda (Burwell) Eberhard.
Bob was a graduate of Westerville High School, OH, and attended Ohio State University.
He was the former owner of Eberhard & Eberhard Painting, which is now operated by his son.
Following military service as a Medic in the Ohio National Guard and Pennsylvania National Guard, Bob retired on October 31, 2002 as Master Sergeant with the Army National Guard.
He is survived by a daughter, Tracey Langley & husband, Rick, of Croton, OH, two sons: Randall W. Eberhard & wife, Stephanie, Steelton, PA, and Jamie A. Eberhard & wife, Chrisi, Elizabethtown, PA,eight grandchildren: Tarah Varney, Olivia & RJ Langley, Devin, Alex, Sydney, Evan & Brooke Eberhard, three siblings: Carol Tomlinson & husband, Steve, Catherine Eberhard, all of Florida, and Sheryl Shedlock & husband, Tom, Dublin, OH, and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their appreciation to John & Sherry Vanhorn, Chad Bogosh, and Rosetta & Thomas Zelinsky for the years of friendship and care they have extended to Bob.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be conducted on Monday, June 12th at Ebling-Stabingas Funeral Home, 26 Chestnut St., Cressona, PA, at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. James Fidler officiating.
A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service.
Interment will immediately follow the service at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
